We Are The Future is an anthem for peace, written by Tracy Bonham, for children. Sung by children - from their perspective. Asking their parents, teachers and politicians to "teach us wisely". As responsible adults, we must remember that every decision we make affects our children, their children, and so on. Never before has it been so important to do the right thing... and to speak for our youth, the ones who aren't heard now, but will soon be inheriting every single choice we make and the repercussions.

We breathe what you breathe
We see what you see
We do as you do
Its not enough that we
are sitting tight
While others suffer,
instead of suffer,
Let's help each other

We are sons and daughters,
tomorrow's authors, to follow.
We are senators and presidents
of tomorrow.

We are the future so teach us wisely
This will be ours one day
So make a promise to teach us wisely & show us how to care today

We preach what you preach
We sing what you sing
we do as you do
And so many turn away
while others suffer, so we all suffer
let's help each other

We are advocates and activists,
enthusiasts for change.
We are pacifists, philosophers
no matter what our age

We are the future,
So teach us wisely
This will be ours one day
So make a promise
to teach us wisely
show us how to care today
